Hog roast @ Avoncroft Museum

The Avoncroft Museum in Bromsgrove booked me recently to provide a traditional Hog Roast whilst they had a weekend of medieval jousts organised in the Museum grounds. The weather was fabulous and the organisation of the jousting contest was tremendous. We managed to keep the guests satisfied with a Pig Roast in Bromsgrove even though we were transported back to the 13tjh century!

We provided a whole pig, cooked for over 7 hours until the meat was virtually falling off the bone, the crunchy crackling was delicious and this was served with traditional stuffing and apple sauce in fresh, white rolls.

The weather really made the weekend, although I have plenty of cover, people are often concerned about the weather when booking me, but please don’t be, as long as the guests have somewhere they can shelter, I have plenty of equipment to keep me, my staff and more importantly the food good and dry.

So Halloween, Bonfire Night and Christmas And New Year parties are no problem, no matter what the weather, you can order your hog roasts, paella, backed potatoes and pancakes for dessert in the secure knowledge that at Hog Roast Redditch we can cope with all weathers.
