HOG ROAST – CHRISTENING PARTY

Christening Hog Roast Catering

Well what a mixed week, weather wise. My gazebo definitely saved the day last week, I have invested in a very robust shelter and good job too. Everyone had a wonderful time at the christening event in Solihull last week. I was asked to do the Christening catering, and although the weather seemed more like November than late May, the Gazebo saved the day. Bacon sandwiches in fresh rolls, Danish pastries and strawberries all washed down with a glass of Bucks Fizz, simple fare but effective, it was only a small function of 30 guests, but the weather certainly didn’t put anyone off and young Finlay had a great day.

Within a couple of days the sun was out in force, so instead sun cream was needed instead. The Hog roast for 120 people went down well. Instead of rolls, I was asked to provide wraps instead, hot pulled pork, pickle and wraps, what a great combination, accompaniments of tomato salads and pirp-piri courgettes, corn on the cob and tangy salsa was also provided, catering for a 30th birthday party.
